It doesn’t matter if it’s washing your car or colouring in pictures (or going to the movies alone, like me!), mindfulness is a powerful tool to help you cope with stress and anxiety. Ignore the images of zen blondes in vaguely Scandinavian yoga studios – take the time to find a mindfulness technique that works for you and future you will be laughing all the way to the happy-brain bank (it’s totally a thing, trust me).
